The questions people ask before reaching out – answered plainly. If yours isn’t here, just send it my way and I’ll get back to you.
I'm based in Adams, Massachusetts, and my practice is 100% online.
That means wherever you are (your couch, your kitchen table, a quiet spot in the car on your lunch break), you can settle in, take a breath, and focus on yourself for a bit. Most people don't get enough of that.
I use a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform. It functions a lot like Zoom, but it isn't Zoom. About 30 minutes before our appointment, you'll get an email with the link. Click it at our scheduled time and we're connected.
All you need is a quiet spot, a decent internet connection, and a device with a camera. Most people meet from home. Some take sessions from the car on a lunch break. Wherever you can close the door and focus on yourself for a bit, that works.
Sessions are 53 minutes. Long enough to get into what's actually going on, structured enough to keep things focused and productive.
Easy. Fill out the request form for an initial consultation, and we'll set up a time to connect.
It's a 15-minute call to ask me any questions I haven't answered here.
Just a chance to hear my voice, get a feel for how I work, and decide whether you'd like to move forward.
I accept Blue Cross Blue Shield and Aetna.
That said, I tend to prefer self-pay when possible, because it gives us more flexibility and keeps things a bit more straightforward. Happy to talk through your options on our consultation call.
Yes. I'm licensed in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Vermont, which means I can see clients located in any of those three states.
Adults 18 and over.
Yes to all three. If you're human and dealing with life (which… you are), you're in the right place.
I have a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and a pretty wide range of clinical experience: addiction treatment, inpatient, IOP, PHP, crisis work, methadone treatment, and Suboxone treatment.
Translation: I've worked with a lot of different people in a lot of different situations, and I'm comfortable meeting you wherever you're at.
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), positive psychology, and goal-directed therapy.
In plain English: we look at patterns, shift what's not working, and build on what is.
We start by talking about your week. What worked, what didn't, and what's been frustrating or challenging. Then we roll up our sleeves and figure out what to do about it.
I'm big on clear, practical solutions, so you'll leave with tools you can actually use, not just things to think about.
I bring a calm, steady presence. I'm also real, direct, and focused on helping you move forward. I'm not here to just nod and listen (though I do plenty of listening). I'm here to help you make changes that actually stick.
Strengths get the spotlight. I tend to focus on yours and build from there, because you already have more going for you than you probably think.
Show up ready to be honest and a little bit intentional. You don't need everything figured out, but having an idea of what you want to work on helps a lot. The more you bring into the room, the more we can do with it.
Of course.
Only if you want to.
Completely up to you. Don't be afraid of tears. They mean you're processing.
Puffs Plus with lotion.
You may ask any questions you wish. That said, this is about you. Take advantage of this space to focus on you.
Definitely a dog person. I have two.
